Film log – watched: Army of Thieves, 2021 – ★★½ 🎥

Average random sci-fi movie pick on Amazon Prime. A video game of a film, visually quite impressive with a few interesting ideas. It did hold most of my attention and wasn’t a complete waste of an hour and a half or so 😊

I would rather have watched it subtitled than dubbed – wasn’t keen on some of the voices and modern American phrasing that didn’t seem to fit well to the characters, but I suppose it could accurately reflect the Russian original; I’ll never know.

Suitably surreal.
