Thasos 🇬🇷, 2022
Been having a few days holiday in gorgeous weather but it’s raining tonight. So we’re confined in a shepherd’s hut with only cheese, wine, books and a Scrabble board for company. Not complaining, it’s great 😊
Power out since 2pm due to the high winds. National Grid say it’s expected to be restored by midday tomorrow 😔
Storm Darragh 💨
Tree down in garden

Gate not happy 😢

Just missed greenhouse and shed

Between bouts of heavy rain and wind I managed about 10 miles of morning walks this week 🚶♂️
Dare Valley Country Park on Wednesday – grey, misty and murky

and Aberdare Park today (Friday) – clear and cold

Sailing into the olive grove

The Village Inn, Pontprennau. An hour or so of time to kill 🍺

The weather strikes again. We were meant to be seeing New Order and The Charlatans in an outdoor venue in Cardiff Bay this evening but extreme weather – in particular high winds – has resulted in the gig being cancelled ☹️🎵
My wife had arranged two days off work and we had a non-refundable hotel booking in Cardiff for the night so have just enjoyed a good meal and drinks instead.
Weather yesterday was good enough for garden pizza 😄

Hot and rocky! My phone kept overheating. But guided by Google Maps I walked to and found the site of:
> Prehistoric T-shaped anchor, Son Xoriguer, Illes Balears, Spain
