Walking – Page 3 – the dim pause

Morning walk through local forestry to a nearby scheduled monument, the Carn Castell y Meibion cairn.

I only learned of and found this site recently. It consists of the remains of a Bronze Age ring cairn.

There are two similar monument sites nearby which I’m also going to seek out.

4 mile walk to collect a package that _should_ have been delivered to my address on Friday. Thanks DPD 😡

Still, it is a very nice day for a walk 🚶‍♂️😄

Another walk with my daughter this morning – 6.5 miles, we’re upping the ante 🙂

Some views over the Cynon Valley yesterday morning whilst walking with my daughter.

The ground is drying in the good weather making paths more passable; we covered over 5 miles, including some steep climbs, in 2 hours 🚶‍♂️

And the skylarks were singing, which I love to hear
