A very Italian day today 🇮🇹

Spaghetti alle vongole for lunch at Signor Valentino, Cardiff Bay

A table setting with two plates of pasta: one with spaghetti and clams, the other with tagliatelle. Accompanied by two glasses of white wine, water glasses, cutlery, and a wine cooler with a bottle.

Followed by a very enjoyable performance of Puccini’s _Tosca_ by Welsh National Opera at the Wales Millennium Centre.

The image shows a group of performers taking a bow on stage after an opera performance of Puccini's Tosca. They stand in front of a large, circular, decorative backdrop with a central circular opening. Stage lights surround the backdrop.

A table with a glass of red wine, a brochure for Tosca by Puccini, and a sign offering a 10% discount on drinks post-show. The setting appears to be a cozy lounge with modern seating in the background.

Got absolutely soaked through walking the mile to Aberdare station this morning. Unexpected downpour, no umbrella, no coat 🌧️ 😡

Now sitting, very damp, on the train to Cardiff for a day’s cricket 🚉 🏏

Luckily the weather is forecast to be better in Cardiff than in the Valleys 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿
