Plenty of football today. World Cup Quarter Finals – Australia 🇦🇺 v 🇫🇷 France on now, followed by England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 v 🇨🇴 Colombia. Then it’s the opening Saturday of the Premier League season with Aston Villa’s first game against Newcastle this afternoon ⚽️

Saturday morning. Pouring with rain outside. Watching Japan 🇯🇵 v 🇳🇴 Norway. Japan have just taken the lead after a quarter of an hour ⚽️🏆

Superb, confident start and fantastic goals from England. Think I’m going to relax ⚽️🏆

⚽️ China 🇨🇳 v 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England very soon. Still a possibility England won’t progress 😬 🏆

Sensational early goal by Lauren James 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ⚽️ 🏆

The final group matches in the FIFA Women’s World Cup are looking very interesting. Some crucial games, starting on Sunday. Meanwhile this morning at 9:30am BST it’s England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 v 🇩🇰 Denmark – not the final Group D game but a win for either side means progress to the knockout stages ⚽
