Re-watching for the first time after about 15 years. Quite enjoyed it! Will be carrying on with the Craig as Bond series as a reminder before seeing No Time to Die.

Interesting enough. A little slow paced, not hugely charismatic performances (and Colin Friels’ accent is weird!), but it did bring back recollections of the novel. Portrayal of post-WW1 Australian populist fascism seems too familiar to current times to be entirely comfortable – does it never go away?
