Film log – watched: Call Me by Your Name, 2017 – ★★★★ 🎥

Re-watching the 2003 Director’s Cut. Superb, even better than I remember 😊

Film log – watched: Alien, 1979 – ★★★★★ 🎥

A lot darker than I remember the 1970s/1980s TV series 😊

And I thought it was a lot better than all the bad reviews here would suggest. Competent tongue-in-cheek horror which reminded me of some old Amicus/Hammer films and the 1980s House series of films (which I also liked…).

Overall it kept me interested and wanting to know where the story and characters went. Enjoyed!

Film log – watched: Finch, 2021 – ★★ 🎥

Low-key, low budget and quite stylish and well filmed. Wanted to like it more but narrative wasn’t enough for me.
