🏏 England declare half an hour before the end of play on day one of the first Ashes Test. Ambitious cricket.

As well as (and for some of the time whilst) walking I’ve been listening to the World Test Championship final between Australia and India at The Oval on the radio this morning. Hope to watch some of the TV coverage over the next few days 🏏

🏏 Double century for Ollie Pope just after tea. Then he’s out stumped for 205. And England declare on 524-4. All happening.

🏏 Pope has reached his century and Duckett out on 182 at Lord’s today. Brilliant partnership 👏

After watching/listening to the England v Ireland Test throughout today I’m now following the Yorkshire Vikings v Lancashire Lightning Vitality Blast T20 match. Reminds me how good the Blast competition can be – I still prefer it to The Hundred 🏏
