🏏🔗 Darren Lehmann: England players do not play enough county cricket

Back to some cricket. The English County Championship starts in a few days – 3rd April, Good Friday – but the IPL 2026 started yesterday. The first match I’m going to watch has just started – Mumbai Indians v Kolkata Knight Riders 🏏

T20 World Cup Final – India beat New Zealand by 96 runs.

New Zealand 88-5 after 10 overs, so everything is going India’s way.

India 255-5 set New Zealand 256 to win. Not a good final over for New Zealand. Almost a repeat of the England semi-final but I don’t think New Zealand’s batting is as good. We’ll see.

New Zealand pulling it back a bit – India 211-4 after 17 overs.

India past 200 with 5 overs to go …

India 92-0 after the 6 over powerplay 👏

ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Final 🏏

New Zealand 🇳🇿 v 🇮🇳 India

India batting first and making a very strong start: 82-0 after 5.2 overs!

India beat England by 7 runs. England finish on 246-7.

So it will be a New Zealand 🇳🇿 v 🇮🇳 India ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Final on Sunday 🏏
