Month: December 2025

All action in the first overs. Mitchell Starc is England’s nemesis 🏏

Root nearly caught at slip. This isn’t looking good.

Starc’s 2nd over. Pope out for a duck. Pink ball is swinging a lot 🫤

Last ball of the first over, Duckett out for a Golden Duck 🦆

Starc bowling, of course …

Australia 🇦🇺 v 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England – The Ashes 🏏

2nd Test, Day 1 – a day-night Test

The Gabba: Brisbane Cricket Ground, Woolloongabba, Brisbane

England win the toss and choose to bat first

Watching a bit of the 1st Test between New Zealand v West Indies at the Hagley Oval, Christchurch. Love the look of the ground – lots of grassy banks 🙂 – but the weather does not seem as warm as I’d like. Have to wait until Brisbane for that 😁🏏
